Roots blower synchronous gear is mainly installed from the two aspects of assembly method and matching characteristics.

 1. Assembly method 

1. For the used synchronous gear of the Roots blower, it should be assembled at the original wear scar position according to the orientation mark made during disassembly, so as to avoid the poor operation of the Roots blower caused by the poor meshing of the tooth surface.

 2. If a new synchronous gear is used, the main and driven gears should be replaced at the same time to avoid poor contact of the synchronous gear. 

3. Under normal circumstances, install the driving gear first, and then install the driven gear. For the working conditions where the synchronous gear and the shaft are connected by a flat key, the flat key should be installed on the shaft first, and the side of the key should be coated with high-viscosity oil. , align the keyway on the hole with the flat key, and install the gear on the Roots blower shaft.
