Reactive Silencer--High Efficiency

Introduction

Rongheng designs and manufactures silencers for low frequency noise (predominant tones of low frequency). It consists of metallic elements of passive performance, designed to get acoustic attenuation by reflections of sound waves. The working principle is the resonance and reflection of waves which are produced in the discontinuities inside the silencer. The silencers are manufactured in steel, for corrosive media the overflow part can be used stainless steel .with different expansion chambers and resonators designed according to the requirements of acoustic attenuation (attenuation up to 20 dBA).

Customized Design

Range of attenuation: between 15 and 30 dBA.

Material selection: carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel.

Protective coating and surface treatment.

Drainage to evacuate condensates.

Non-destructive test: penetrant dyes and X-Rays.

Horizontal installation.

Accessories: flanges, counter flanges, expansion joints, nameplates,, insulation clips, top rain coat, side supports, bolts, etc....

Engineering: mechanical calculations (support reactions, vibration modes, stress and maximum strain, fatigue, etc....) and fluid dynamics (calculation of the distribution of pressure, velocities, self-noise and temperature).

Advantages

Tuned Dissipative Silencers, known as Reactive Silencers are used for applications where air flow contains particulates (such as dust, cement, oil, ash, soot, etc.) that would quickly clog and degrade performance of absorptive silencer baffles.
