The principle of rotary blower

The structure of roots blower:

Roots blower is composed of five parts: casing, wallboard, impeller, fuel tank, and muffler. 

Chassis: Mainly play the role of support (wallboard, impeller, muffler) and fixation. 

Wallboard: Mainly used to connect the casing and the impeller, and support the rotation of the impeller, as well as the effect of sealing the end face.

 Impeller: It is the rotating part of the Roots blower. It is divided into two blades and three blades. The three blades have many advantages such as smaller air pulsation, lower noise and more stable operation than the two blades, it has gradually replaced the two blades Roots blower. 

Oil tank: mainly used to store lubricating oil used to lubricate gears and bearings. 

Muffler: used to reduce the noise generated by air pulsation 

Operating conditions:

1.The inlet air temperature of the conveying medium is usually no more than 40°C.

2. The content of particles in the medium shall not exceed 100mg/m3, and the maximum size of particles shall not exceed half of the minimum working gap. 

3. The temperature of the bearing during operation shall not be higher than 95°C, and the temperature of the lubricating oil shall not be higher than 65°C. 

4. The operating pressure shall not be higher than the pressure increase range specified on the nameplate.

 5. The clearance between the impeller and the casing of the Roots blower, the impeller and the side plate, the impeller and the impeller has been adjusted before leaving the factory, and the clearance must be ensured when reassembling.

 6. When the Roots blower is running, the oil level of the main oil tank and the auxiliary oil tank must be between the two red lines of the oil level gauge. 

7. Check whether the connection parts of the inlet and outlet are forgotten to be tightened, and whether the supporting parts of the piping are complete. For blowers and vacuum pumps that require cooling water, check whether the installation of the cooling water meets the requirements.
