The Principle Of Roots Blower

Roots  blower is a kind of positive displacement . There are two three lobed impellers rotating relatively in the space sealed by the shell and the headplate.  

The working  process starts with air flowing from the inlet port into the element chamber. 

Pressure increase is achived by forcing the medium from atmospheric conditions into a system with a given resistance . The roots blower will operate at a constant output level to overcome this resistance
